In-service Master Program

The length of study for students in the In-service Master Program is 2 to 6 years. The students in the In-service Master Program who completed 25 credits of the courses specified in the curriculum schedule (excluding master’s thesis) and passed the degree examination will be awarded a master’s degree.

Students in the In-service Master Program must take the required or required elective courses specified in the curriculum schedule. The credits for each semester (excluding thesis writing of which the credits should be supplemented) total as 8 credits. Students with special reasons, with the approval of the chairman of department, can take an additional 2 credits. Students in the In-service Master Program should complete more than six hours of academic ethics courses before the end of the first academic year.

Students in the In-service Master Program who have completed 17 credits of the courses specified in the curriculum schedule and approved by the advisor, may apply for the review of the master thesis plan. Students in the In-service Master Program who have passed the review of the master's thesis plan and have completed 25 credits of the courses specified in the curriculum schedule and approved by the advisor, may apply for a master’s degree examination. Students in the In-service Master Program can apply for the degree examination only two months after the review and approval of the master’s thesis plan.

When students in the In-service Master Program submit a master’s thesis (examination version), they should also submit the comparison results of the originality comparison system (Turnitin) (including abstract) and the affidavit for review by the advisor and the degree examination committee. If the total similarity ratio of the originality comparison exceeds 30%, the thesis shall be assessed as a failure. When students in the In-service Master Program apply to leave school to submit a master’s degree thesis, they should submit the comparison result of the originality comparison system (Turnitin) (including abstract) and the affidavit for review by the advisor and chairman of department.

The review of the master's thesis is based on the principle of publication, with the exception of delayed publication or non-publication. If students in the In-service Master Program intend to postpone the publication or not to publish for the thesis review, an application should be submitted before applying for the degree examination with the reasons stated. The resolution will be decided at the department meeting. The courses are scheduled as follows:
